Members and friends of Center Church place a special emphasis on learning the Christian message in ways that make sense to people of faith in the twenty-first century. As an Open and Affirming congregation of the United Church of Christ (UCC), our Minister and members believe strongly that God calls us to be engaged with our Holy Scriptures and to use of the best scholarship of the day to interpret, to understand, and to apply the teachings of Christ to our lives. Our Bible studies, group discussions, special Advent and Lenten series, workshops, forums and small groups seek to explore how adults, youth and children can experience the liberating truth of the gospel while deepening their relationship with God and other members of the church.
