The Church House, built in 1909 and located at the corner of Lewis and Gold Street, was dedicated it to the Educational and Social Work of the Church and, to this day, we continue to carry on with the mission of those visionary men and women who built it. In the past we have partnered with Hands on Hartford in order to offer assistance to persons in need.
Today, Center Church is proud to continue our tradition of working closely with community partners to help any members of our community who may need temporary assistance.
Our Outreach Coordinator, Carrie Howe, has office hours Wednesday and Friday where folks can drop in to ask advice, enjoy some community fellowship, browse our free community wardrobe and make appointments for any of the myriad services we provide.
